Position: Sales Vice President - SEA / ANZ/ India

    Our client is a multinational company headquartered in India. It has offices in USA, UK, and in Singapore besides India that cater to its customers in the geographies of North America, Europe, ANZ and the APAC region respectively.

       

    Ideal Candidate

    • The ideal candidate will be seasoned software sales executive having enjoyed a track record of success in the SEA/ANZ regions respectively having previously sold Business Intelligence, Analytics or related software.
    • Experience within the Retail sector is mandatory.
    • They will be experienced in all aspects of Sales and bid Management and will have a demonstrable track record of success in driving recurring revenues directly from clients and also indirectly via partners such as Systems Integrators and Consultancies.
    • The candidate will have had exposure working for an early stage or smaller to medium sized high growth Software Company. They will have a proven track record of success in an entrepreneurial software environment, working in "push mode" with minimal supervision and support.
       

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Negotiate and close high value long term business
    • Become a strategic member of the Management team.
    • Ensure that territory target is achieved and overachieved
    • Identify and properly qualify business opportunities for closure in concerned markets (i.e. SEA/ANZ)
    • Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure
    • Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously
    • Communicate business ideas and prepare sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting on a weekly and monthly basis for senior management
    • Extensive travel in the SEA and ANZ regions respectively will be required

    Required Qualifications:

    • The ideal candidate will have led or been a strong number 2 in a high performing software sales team
    • Extensive knowledge and experience of the Retail, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytics markets
    • New business hunter mentality with experience of prospecting, marketing support lead generation, direct selling to end user clients and also via partners
    • Has succeeded in an entrepreneurial driven rapidly growing software company and a consistent overachiever of sales targets
    • Able to negotiate agreements, create account strategy plans and deploying and allocating resource as required
    • Good communicative skills both verbally and in written form and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions
    • Have strong experience in taking ownership of and managing a geography as their own business.
    • Ability to interact with many different types of individuals, including Executives, Technologists, Analysts, and other computer and business professionals.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a small team environment
    • Previous experience of professional sales training such as solution selling, Complex Sale etc.
    • Polished, corporate image, good customer skills, extrovert personality
    • A true entrepreneur with the ability to close deals and make the difference
    • Fluency in English. Other language skills are desirable

    Key Accountabilities and Key Performance Indicators:

    • Overachievement of the Territory target
    • MBO’s to be agreed between successful candidate and Systems Senior Management team
