Peter-Paul Nijsten

Peter-Paul Nijsten is Regional Director with Garner International Singapore and responsible for the Industrial, Engineering & Commercial Sectors, in combination with e.g. Global Technology, Consumer Products, Logistics, Energy, Automotive, Transport, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance. Prior to this assignment he was Business Director in Shanghai with a global Executive Search firm. He also managed his own boutique Executive Search firm in Singapore.

Peter-Paul has been successful as Managing Director with three mid-sized European manufacturing organizations in multi cultural environments and with world wide marketing, sales and sourcing activities. He was posted in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and in The Netherlands. The industrial products were especially related to Gas & Wind Turbines, Power Transmissions, High Speed Trains, Material Handling Systems and manufacturing.

Peter-Paul has extensive experience in international management & organization, human resources, marketing & sales in Europe, in the US and in Asia. He has built manufacturing plants and he has reorganized companies. He was Sales & Marketing Director in the Netherlands, before initiating a merger with a Belgian company.

Peter-Paul is fluent in Dutch, English, German, and French. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the Business University Nyenrode and a BA in Engineering.

He is a Member of the Belgian-Chinese Economic Counsel, of The Rotary Club of Singapore, the Association of Dutch Businessmen, the Belgian-Luxemburg Business Group and the German, British, Australian and American Chambers, and he is a founding member of the new Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

Peter-Paul lives in Singapore, with his Canadian wife and their teenage daughter.
