Lorraine Boon

Lorraine Boon is the Executive Search Director of Garner International focusing on Banking and Financial Services.

She started as a research analyst with Barclays de Zoete Wedd, before moving to London to join them on the cash equity sales desk. This marked the beginning of a 17 year career in the industry which has seen her work in various locations including Hong Kong, Jakarta and London. She has held senior positions in Jardine Fleming and JP Morgan.

Lorraine retired from JP Morgan in early 2002 to spend more time with her son. However, she remained actively involved in the industry by becoming a Committee Member of the Financial Women’s Association and she has retained her extensive network of contacts.

She also has the unique experience of starting her own company in 2005 which provides art and artwork services. As a founding partner, Lorraine was responsible for Business Development and Financial Management. In 2 short years, Art Alliance expanded from a small Singapore focused artworks provider to a credible player with projects in Malaysia and Thailand. Upon joining Garner, she has assumed a non active role but the company is still in operation.
