Job Objective
  • To advise and support the regional POC sales team on all technical subjects relating to products and applications, as well as technological developments in the power controller market and customer markets, in order to realize the POC short term sales targets and business strategy. 
  • Be the Power Controller technical expert in the Asia region.
   
Main Accountabilities
  • Advise and support sales managers on technological subjects related to POC projects
  • Support the Field Applications Engineers with specialized technological advice and training
  • Provide technological input for the annual POC regional sales and business strategy plans
  • Advise the POC SBU organization about technical market developments in the Asia region
  • Consult/discuss with the POC SBU organization specific technical customer issues to develop a solution
  • To be the technical expert to be consulted by customers, and provide support to sales and FAE for customer and channel distributors training
  • Be the technical liaison between the Asia Region and Belecke POC organization, in particular regarding technical updates and new application solutions
  • Advise the regional POC service organization about technical developments
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships within the company, in particular within the region and the POC SBU.

The Candidate Profile

The candidate ideally will be a Chinese or Singapore country national or someone with an extensive background on the Asia region markets and several years top level management experience.

  • University degree in power electronics
  • Excellent knowledge of specific POC industry applications
  • Expert knowledge of specific high current special heating products and applications
  • Expert knowledge of specific POC market segments: Special Glass, Poly Silicon, Solar, ….
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin is an advantage
  • Good communicator, good inter-personal skills
