• Bahrain-Based Position

An experienced Relationship Manager (RM) familiar with Islamic Wealth Management products is required to market and sell these products and generally grow the Wealth Management client base in the GCC.

Our client has an exceptional Middle Eastern network and is focusing on:

• commercial banking
• corporate finance
• capital market
• wealth management services

Basic Function:

The emphasis is on the provision and distribution of Shariah compliant wealth management services and capital market instruments.

The role is based in Bahrain. The successful candidate will lead and develop the bank’s wealth management prospects for the GCC. He or she is expected to perform strategy assessments, support new and grow exiting business initiatives, monitor key competitors and market trends and develop competitive intelligence for the region. As a Senior Vice President, the candidate will work closely with the bank’s Singapore based Senior management and contribute to the executive management process for the region.

General Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• With at least 7 years experience of working closely with high net worth clients in the Islamic Wealth management space, the candidate should have a solid portfolio of assets under management. Specifically, the client catchment area will be predominantly drawn from the GCC.
• A good network of intermediaries and introducers of business throughout the region will also be advantageous.
• A good command of Arabic is a key criteria.
