• Group's purchasing strategy which will contribute to the profitability targets.
• Overlooking & ensuring the implementation of the strategy in all operations is an essential part of the role.
• Sourcing of credible suppliers and directing the flow of goods and services while planning the activities of purchasing managers in purchasing materials, products, and services.
• Ensure that the right criteria for suppliers’ evaluation is in place.
• Builds, maintains and manages relationships with suppliers, vendors and contractors.
• Identification of key materials sources and to the selection of ideal supplier through market research.
• Strategic sourcing planning, implementation, supplier/compliance management and cost savings.
• Purchasing best practices, must lead negotiations with suppliers with the purpose to achieve maximum long term, sustainable benefit for the group.
• Develop purchasing staff.

• University degree Financial or Technical.
• M. Sc. in Finance or MBA.
• At least 10 years in purchasing functions, 4 of them in a managerial position.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with integrity as a major attribute due to the nature of the job.
• Integrity and exceptional communication skills.
• Excellent people skills necessary to train others in performing key activities and supervise their work.
• Team player.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines including a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications & control large budgets.
• P/C literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Project).
