THE INSTITUTE OF
EXECUTIVE COACHING
The Institute of Executive Coaching was established as a
centre of excellence for the coaching profession. They
support excellence in executive coaching in three main
ways:
• Through extensive experience and reflection on our
practice as executive coaches and facilitators
• Through rigorous coaching training and accreditation
programs for individuals and organisations and,
• By conducting & supporting research for the practical
development of the coaching profession as a whole.
The Institute is headquartered in Sydney and operates in
Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, represented in
Singapore by Garner Executive Performance. Client
organisations include: ANZ, the Asian Development Bank,
Citigroup, Dell, Insurance Australia Group, Telstra and
Westpac.
Through strategic alliances nationally and
internationally the Institute remains at the leading
edge of the best and most innovative practice in all
programmes. All IEC corporate programs are designed to
impact at the individual, team and organisational level.
The Institute’s programmes bridge the gap between the
existing ‘current reality’ of an organisation and its
desired state. Institute coaches and facilitators are
also accredited in the most effective research and
diagnostic tools, and integrate these, where
appropriate, into the program or engagement.
When it comes to preparing aspiring coaches for a career
as Executive Coaches the IEC accreditation programme is
rigorous and highly practical. It incorporates three
intensive programs as well as membership of our
community of practice for ongoing professional
development and supervision. Over the past five years,
over 600 professionals have gone through the Institute’s
public programs. All coaches who work for the Institute
are accredited and take part in ongoing professional
development programmes.
